THE GOOD PLACES

The places we go to find peace, connections and others like us. Where we look deep within ourselves and see what stares back. A place to answer questions and to question answers. Where we are vulnerable, scared and brave. We go with family, friends, strangers and on rare occasions by ourselves. A place we come together as a community. Where we are moved, brought to joy, and at times to tears. When the time comes, we file out the doors and into the bright light. With hopes, fears and doubts. We exit politely, calmly and thoughtfully. We have learned, grown and if we are fortunate enough… changed for the better. Those are the good places.
