Casco Bay Lines is a ferry system that provides year-round passenger, freight, postal and vehicle ferry service to the islands of Casco Bay from Portland, Maine. For over 150 years, our vessels have been transporting people from Portland to the islands of Casco Bay.

Fort Williams Park

One Head Light

Portland Head Light, commissioned by George Washington and in operation since January, 1791, marks the southern side of the entrance to Portland Harbor. It is the quintessential Maine lighthouse, combining in a single view Maine's ocean, islands, rocky coast, colonial history, and maritime heritage.
